We have visitors this weekend so I took that opportunity to whip the house SEMI into shape.
I mean really. REALLY. Who’s house is southern living perfect with small children?
If you answered yes…well…you have a maid or your children have no fun. Pfft!
ASP even cracked a joke that he’s never seen me scrub toilets that well before.
Hmph.
After asking how many times he’s seen me scrub toilets I wasn’t worried. I OBVIOUSLY have scrubbed them more than 2 times in the almost 7 years we’ve been together.
Proof men don’t pay attention to diddly squat!
I have taken a good mental note away from this ladies. Clean so much you “forget” to make dinner and you will be fed a lovely meal of BBQ chicken and mashed potatoes.
Could have helped we’ve been watching BBQ pitmasters all week AND his brother and his family got him some amazing recipe book, grill seasonings and sauces for his birthday last week.
Shout out to them, you ROCK we are enjoying them IMMENSELY!
Before I switch the laundry out here is some awesome pictures from the 4th. We didn’t have fireworks day of because its been raining buckets down here…thank goodness our town had them the weekend before (AND we can see them from our master bedroom window!)
